Monday Coffee Date – Bree Hester Annapolis MD Newborn Photographer – A trip home to the states, a new nephew, and watching my brother and sister-in-law become amazing parents.
How gorgeous is this baby? I might be a little biased because he is my nephew. I love him so much.
Being the oldest child (by quite a few years) I’ve waited a long time for my siblings to make me an aunt. When they told me the news, I was beside myself – and now that he is here, I am absolutely smitten by him. It has been a beautiful thing watching my brother become a father. I always knew that he would be a good one, but watching it happen has been even better than I could have imagined. And my sister-in-law is a natural mother, I am so proud of them both.
I hopped on a plane to meet him and I was lucky enough to spend the week getting to know him. I love newborns, but I have a soft spot for this one. He is so sweet. He’s a teeny little thing and I loved every cuddle, diaper change, and load of laundry. I said goodbye to him yesterday and won’t see him again until we move back to the states. It wasn’t great, I’ve cried on and off about it all day. This is one of those times when I really miss living closer to home.
WATCHING // Alllllll of the TV. It is so nice to have channels again! I am almost caught up on Southern Charm.
EXCITED FOR // My first trip to my sister’s new New York City restaurant. It is getting excellent reviews and I can’t wait to see it and I know that the food will be incredible.
BUYING // I brought an empty suitcase home because I knew that I would be doing some serious shopping. Especially for these.
