Bill and Erica – Rustic Fall June Farms Wedding | West Sand Lake New York
I’ve been emailing back and forth with Erica and have worked with Bill’s company Pinhole Press for many years, but I didn’t actually meet them until a few weeks ago. Even though we are new friends, they made me feel like I’ve known them forever. They are the kindest and most welcoming people, and I am so honored that they asked me to photograph their wedding. They were so relaxed and excited to be married, they made my job so easy. They are so in love and you can just tell how happy they are to finally be Mr. and Mrs. Gamble.
When you do a destination wedding, it can be a little awkward because you tend to not know anyone at the event other than the bride and groom. The Stoeckeler and Gamble families made me feel like I was one of theirs. They could not have been any kinder or more inclusive and that welcoming feeling carried throughout the wedding weekend.
Erica and Bill’s vision for a fall Hudson Valley fall wedding came to fruition with gorgeous florals, deep jewel tones, candlelight, and the backdrop of peak leaf season. Pumpkins, dahlias, mums, and the height of the fall colors on the trees. It was simply stunning.
The ceremony and reception were held at June Farms and it was the most beautiful venue for a rustic fall wedding. There is not a spot there that is not photogenic, it is a gorgeous venue full of people that genuinely seem to love what they do. It shows from the moment you step foot on the property until you say goodbye. (They also have a pizza oven and everyone ended the night with a piping hot pizza for the road. AMAZING.)
Bill and Erica’s wedding was filled with love, laughter and some of the best reception dancing I’ve ever seen.
Bill and Erica, here’s to a lifetime of happiness and laughter and all the good things.
P.S. We’re friends now, so you’re stuck with me. Anniversary session next year?
