I love the idea of sharing 5 of my favorite frames each month. I try my hardest to take personal photos at least once, if not twice, a week. It keeps my skills up, let’s me play with some different editing styles, and is memory keeping for my little family.
May was a very big month for a Royal lover. We had a very new prince AND a Royal wedding. For once, I live in an excellent time zone to watch a live event. I for sure don’t feel this way during football season. I obviously had a tea party and spent the entire (almost 10 hours) day on the couch watching coverage.
It was everything I wanted and more. I didn’t love the fit of her dress, but other than that, it was perfection.
I assumed that my family would be home to watch with me, but they all had other things to do, so it was a lovely party for 1. The sangria was my favorite thing. I sent Will down the street to the strawberry stand to get me some more to make another pitcher.
When we were in Paris in March the weather was not great and it was really cold. I wanted to take some pictures, but the weather just was not cooperating. I decided that I would come back by myself for a photo trip. My friend Wendy was coming to Paris and it was the perfect time to take a photo trip.
It was such a nice trip. I love Paris, it is a magical city and every time I am there, I fall in love more.
May was also Spring Fest. Fest is a photographer’s paradise. It is bright and colorful and there are so many things to take pictures of. Not to mention excellent food and beer.
May was also Mother’s Day. We went out for Thai and I asked the kids to let me take their picture on the stairs across the street from the restaurant. Sometimes the outtakes are my favorite. I had a lot of outtakes to choose from this day.
